Job Title: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit Profession: RN - ICU Specialty: RN - ICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum years of experience preferred License: Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice required Certifications: CPR or BLS certification required Must-Have: ACLS certification required Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment. Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation. Analyzes assessment data in determining diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain desired outcomes. Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and promotes health and a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward achieving desired outcomes. Identifies outcomes for the patient or the patient’s situation. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe and healing environment.
