Description:
The position is for an ICU Registered Nurse.
The unit has a total of 6 beds.
Patient ratios are mainly 2:1, with some 1:1 and 3:1.
There is 1 Nurse Tech available on the unit.
The type of equipment includes Arctic Sun and Continuous EEG.
The documentation system used is Meditech.
Nurses will work 36 hours a week with every other weekend required.
There is a floating policy that includes the ICU overflow unit.
The unit performs procedures such as central line placements, arterial line placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and intubation.
The dress code requires Galaxy Blue or Pewter scrubs.
Unit specific policies and guidelines will be provided during education onboarding.
The facility is recognized for quality and staff engagement.
New equipment includes the latest GE ICU monitors.
The ICU is expanding to double its capability.
