Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid State License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Patient ratio experience in ICU settings - Charting system experience preferred in Cerner Description: RN travelers will be assigned to float between ICU, Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical units. Nurses must be able to care for ventilated patients and manage continuous IV sedation. The role includes ICP monitoring, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and management of dysrhythmias. Candidates will be expected to administer and monitor procedural sedation. Staff will assist with starting and maintaining IVs. The facility has strict dress code policies, including the requirement to cover tattoos. Facial hair, acrylic nails, and unnatural hair colors are not allowed. Visible body piercings, including facial or nose rings, are not permitted. Earrings must not extend beyond the earlobe or be hoop earrings. Nurses should have experience floating across multiple ICUs and telemetry. The facility specializes in stroke/neuro, cardiac care, trauma, and general conditions. Candidates should be versed in several specialties to effectively float between units. This position requires travel experience.
