Must-Have:
Candidates must possess the ability to care for critically ill patients.
Candidates must be able to monitor rhythm strips, recognize changes, and escalate to physicians in a timely manner.
Candidates must have ICU nursing experience.
Description:
This position involves caring for high acuity patients, including those on ventilators.
Assist with intubation and bronchoscopy at the bedside.
Perform SLED, TEE, and cardioversions as needed.
Candidates should be high energy, believe in teamwork, and possess strong critical thinking skills.
A positive attitude with the ability to adapt to changes quickly is essential.
Floating areas may include PCU, Telemetry, and ER, only for taking hold patients.
Every other weekend is required.
No on-call duties are assigned.
Dress code consists of black pants and black or Caribbean blue tops.
Unit policies and guidelines will be provided upon orientation.
