TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Southlake, Texas, 76092!

Registered Nurse, ICU, 13 weeks, Night, 3x12-Hour, 18:45 - 07:15, Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required, TX or Compact License required, ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required. Description: Local candidates within 90 miles of the facility will be considered. Weekends, floating to other departments, and holiday shifts may be required. Scrub color is navy. Patient ratio is 1:2. General ICU patient diagnoses include cardiac issues, STEMI, DKA, alcohol withdrawal, vascular procedures, post-invasive spinal surgery, and DIEP flaps. Skills required include managing ports, arterial lines, assisting with chest tube procedures, and BiPAP/CPAP management. Experience in blood product administration and care of ventilated patients is essential. Candidates should be proficient in central line management and handling chronic or acute renal failure cases. Knowledge of IV sedation protocols and titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips is expected. Interpretation of arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias is necessary. Candidates must be familiar with infection prevention protocols and isolation precautions. The unit supports interdisciplinary collaboration with various departments, including physical therapy and pharmacy. The daily patient census ranges from 1 to 5, with a total of 6 beds in the unit. Approval for time off requests will be determined by management prior to contract signing. Candidates living locally will not be subjected to the same rate as non-local travelers.
