Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Infusion Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 3 years of experience in infusion nursing required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ONS/ONCC Must-Have: Infusion and oncology outpatient experience required Description: Registered Nurses are responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients. Candidates must have experience with IV pumps, chemotherapy pumps, PICC lines, and central lines. Experience with phlebotomy, blood transfusions, injections, dressing changes, and oncology is essential. Knowledge of various diagnoses such as hematology, neurology, and gastroenterology is required. Candidates must have familiarity with the Epic charting system. BLS and ONS/ONCC certifications are mandatory. The role involves caring for adults and managing a diverse patient load with conditions related to oncology and non-oncology. The nurse will perform skills such as medication administration, care coordination, patient education, and management of infusion therapies. Effective communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary support are required for optimal patient outcomes.
