The Medical Infusion RN is responsible for comprehensive nursing assessment, review of treatment plans and required clinical parameters, medication administration, ongoing patient monitoring, and management of infusion/injection-related reactions. Patient education, care coordination, and accurate clinical documentation are essential responsibilities of the RN. The RN serves as a critical member of the interdisciplinary team and plays an essential role in ensuring safe treatment delivery, timely access to care, effective patient flow, and a positive patient experience.
