Job Description:

This role involves providing specialized care to complex ICU patients, including those from surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma backgrounds. The RN will work in a diverse unit with various patient types and diagnoses, such as ARDS, MI, CVA, and others.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and individualized patient care in a mixed ICU setting.
• Work with Epic for electronic charting and comply with department charting requirements.
• Coordinate with various support staff including CNAs, RTs, and Physicians.
• Adapt to varying patient ratios based on acuity and needs.

Requirements:

• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications are required.
• At least 2 years of ICU experience, not including travel assignments.
• Must have experience with IV medications, hemodynamic lines, ventilator management, and telemetry.
• Completion of an approved nursing education program and a current RN license with the South Dakota Board of Nursing.
• Epic experience and the ability to work a 48-hour/week schedule.
