Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Nashville, Tennessee. This role involves providing specialized critical care nursing services within the ICU setting. The selected candidate will be responsible for patient care activities during day shifts, with a focus on ensuring safety, compliance, and high-quality outcomes.
Job Details:
- Shift Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Previous travel nursing experience; ability to read telemetry strips; BLS (American Heart Association); ACLS (American Heart Association); NIHSS; CPI (or MAB); must have at least 2 years of ICU experience in the past three years; be willing to work holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's; able to work weekends; reliable, transparent, and present to work; compliance clearance required 10 days prior to orientation.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with telemetry monitoring and arrhythmia recognition; experience working in diverse ICU settings such as Postpartum, NICU, or Emergency Department is a plus.
- Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Additional Information: Termination of contract occurs after three call-outs; no requested time off during holidays; floating within scope of practice may be required; candidates will be tested on arrhythmia readings, moderate sedation, and heparin distribution prior to orientation; orientation for various RN specialties including ICU is scheduled; facility can cancel one shift every four weeks during the contract.
