Job Summary:
The critical care registered nurse position is located in a high-acuity intensive care unit within a healthcare facility in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to adult patients with diverse medical conditions, including neurological, cardiovascular, and trauma cases, in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art ICU environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification, and at least 0 years of experience in an ICU setting
  • Patient Types: Multi-specialty ICU - high acuity neuro, post-cardiovascular surgery/medical, surgical, trauma ICU
  • Support on the Unit: CNA-to-patient ratio 1:12, dedicated charge nurse, centralized tele monitoring with technician, bedside monitoring, 24-hour intensivist coverage, mid-level provider coverage, full-time ICU educator
  • Charting System/Equipment: Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: EPIC, infusion pumps: Alaris, medication dispensing: Pyxis
  • Float: Floating may be required to other medsurg units in rotation
  • Orientation: One shift of orientation on the unit
  • Additional Notes: Scrub color is flexible; free parking outside the inpatient entrance; the designated point of contact will be provided for questions.
