Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) care in Asheville, North Carolina. This position involves providing advanced patient care in a 12-bed ICU setting, primarily focusing on neurological post-thrombectomy, TPA patients, and neurosurgery cases. The role requires collaboration with a skilled team and adherence to unit-specific policies.

Job Details:

• Location: Asheville, North Carolina
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), ICU experience, two years of relevant clinical experience, location in North Carolina, and no minimum experience requirements
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience caring for neurology patients post-thrombectomy and TPA, post-neurosurgery patients, and familiarity with procedures such as CRRT, bedside external ventricular drain (EVD) management, and arterial line monitoring
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other ICU units or step-down units as per policy
• Additional Information:
  • Conducts procedures like continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), bedside external ventricular drain (EVD) management, and arterial line monitoring
  • Ensures compliance with unit-specific policies and guidelines, including dress code (navy blue uniform)
  • Experience with handling neurology post-thrombectomy and TPA patients preferred
