  • Certifications: Active RN license in Texas; CCRN preferred
  • Required Qualifications: 2+ years MICU/MSICU experience, BLS and ACLS certification; Texas RN license or valid compact license; no minimum experience requirement other than the specified clinical experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic documentation system; advanced ICU skills such as bedside procedures including thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, intubations, and central line placements
  • Unit Specifics:
    • Staffing based on acuity and skill set
    • All ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, GE Cardiac Output monitor
    • Procedures performed include central line placements, bedside thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, intubations, and other ICU procedures
  • Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs; clean and healthy nails without artificial enhancements; neat, clean hair pulled back if shoulder-length; body art should be covered; no visible piercings other than ears
