Shift: Nights, 12‑hour shifts
Hours/Week: 36 guaranteed

Job Summary:
The House Supervisor RN provides leadership and oversight across inpatient units, including Float Pool, Women & Children’s, and Med‑Surg. This role ensures safe staffing, supports clinical teams, and manages patient flow during night shifts. Supervisors act as the primary resource for staff, coordinate care across departments, and ensure adherence to hospital policies and standards.

Job Duties:

• Supervise nursing staff across multiple inpatient units during assigned shifts.
• Provide leadership support in Float Pool, Women & Children’s, and Med‑Surg departments.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels and patient assignments.
• Serve as the primary resource for clinical staff, offering guidance and support.
• Manage patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
• Respond to emergencies and critical incidents, ensuring proper escalation.
• Enforce hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Document supervisory activities and maintain accurate records.
• Cover weekends and holidays as required.
