Specializing in home hospice care, this role involves visiting patients' homes, ensuring attentive and compassionate care to those with terminal illnesses or end-stage diseases. Key Responsibilities of the RN Hospice
  • Conduct focused assessments and apply critical thinking skills to patient care
  • Perform symptom management and post-fall assessments
  • Administer narcotic pain medications and address potential drug diversions
  • Manage patient agitation issues and provide post-mortem care
  • Engage with medical examiner or coroner as needed

Requirements of the RN Hospice
  • Active BLS and State of WI RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of Home Health or Home Hospice experience
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle with auto insurance
  • Comfortable with using EMR systems, primarily Epic (Rover)
