Job Title: RN - Hospice (Travel)

Location: Summit, New Jersey

Pay: $2,621.85 per week

Shifts: 11am-7pm, and every other weekend

Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Hospice care for a travel assignment in Summit, New Jersey. This role requires delivering compassionate care in a home hospice environment, ensuring patients and their families receive appropriate nursing support. This position will require working across different clinical settings within hospice care.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Hospice (Travel)
  • Perform patient assessments and develop care plans for patients and families
  • Ensure appropriate utilization of services and maintain visit productivity standards
  • Complete discharge assessments and manage laptop data transfer
  • Implement age-appropriate teaching methods for patients and families
  • Assume responsibility for case management, implementing and evaluating care plans
  • Maintain a safe environment and adhere to infection control measures
  • Participate in monthly staff and PI meetings
  • Assist with agency business growth and cross-train where necessary

Requirements of the RN - Hospice (Travel)
  • Current New Jersey RN License
  • 2-3 years of RN experience in a home hospice environment
  • Valid New Jersey driver's license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience using an EMR, and proficiency in critical thinking and communication skills
  • Experience with GIP within a hospital setting
  • Associate's (ASN) degree or Diploma with RN License in New Jersey
