Job Title: Hospice RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Hospice Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Current unencumbered Oregon RN Licensure required Certifications: Healthcare Provider Level BLS required Must-Have: BSN and/or previous hospice or case management experience preferred Description: The hospice teams support patients and family members through the final stages of their illness. The inpatient facility provides symptom management, respite care, and room and board. Services offered include skilled nursing care, pain and other symptom management, medical social services, counseling, spiritual support, hospice aides, trained hospice volunteers, bereavement support, and medication and equipment as appropriate. Broad-based nursing experience is preferred to ensure specialized skills needed for hospice nursing. Additionally, previous hospice or case management experience is preferred. Holiday coverage is required.
