This role involves working in a dynamic Home Health environment, providing care to patients directly within their homes. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Home Health - Travel
  • Provide direct patient care within the Maternal Child Health department
  • Collaborate with Unit leadership following nursing governing bodies such as AWONN, ACOG, NNA, AORN
  • Engage in observation, data collection, planning, implementation, and evaluation for patient needs
  • Address the physical, psychological, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs of patients

Requirements of the RN - Home Health - Travel
  • Minimum of an Associates of Applied Science in Nursing
  • Current NYS RN license
  • Certification in BLS upon hire; ACLS, PALS, and NRP within 6 months
  • Preferred experience with knowledge of post-partum care
  • Physical ability to perform tasks related to patient care, including repetitive hand use and light lifting
