Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days, Monday to Friday Hours per Shift: 8.5 hours (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM), weekend on-call rotation required Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in home health License: Valid RN license Certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC) Must-Have: Strong understanding of Medicare's homebound criteria Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Home Health. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in home health. Experience with determining the primary skill for patient visits is required, including hands-on, direct care, observation/assessment, education, and monitoring/evaluation. Strong proficiency in OASIS is essential. Travel between patient visits is typically kept to a maximum of 15-20 minutes. The role involves conducting 5-6 routine visits per day. Home health experience is required, along with the ability to adapt to changing schedules due to patient cancellations. Documentation is performed using a designated electronic record system. Candidates will be issued a laptop and phone for work purposes. There may be a quick orientation process where travelers can ask questions and receive real-time assistance. After orientation, the employee may start and end their day from home. Weekend on-call rotation is part of the job duties.
