Job Title: Home Health RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Active Maryland or Compact license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: HCHB experience and Home Care experience Description: This position is Monday through Friday with no weekends or holidays. The working hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM. The RN will cover home health visits, primarily in the Rockville area, with possible coverage in the Silver Spring area. Field nursing requires a productivity standard of 5 visits per day. Candidates should have experience in home health care with a focus on all diagnoses discharges from hospitals, medical offices, and skilled nursing facilities. The role includes admission assessments, care management, medication administration, and various other nursing skills. Continuous patient monitoring and documentation are critical to ensure quality care is provided. Candidates will be responsible for managing different patient needs, including wound care and the care of various medical devices. The position emphasizes adherence to infection control precautions and safety protocols. A background in case management is preferred. Clinical assessments must be documented accurately in required systems.
