Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the RN Oncology - Hemo - FS provides nursing care in a hospital setting to patients with health conditions ranging from simple to complex. The role involves delivering competent patient care, administering prescribed medications, monitoring physiological data, and interacting with patients and families to share care plans and hospital procedures. The RN will also assist physicians during examinations and minor diagnostic procedures, delegate tasks to support staff, and make referrals regarding patient care needs.
Required Qualifications:
• 1 year of experience
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
