Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures
  • Prepare patients and procedure rooms for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Administer medications and monitor patients receiving moderate sedation
  • Assist physicians during endoscopy procedures, including colonoscopies and upper GI procedures
  • Monitor patient vital signs and recovery status
  • Educate patients and families regarding procedures, preparation, and post-procedure care
  • Maintain accurate documentation and procedural records
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards
Requirements
  • Active RN License in California
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Endoscopy nursing experience
  • BLS and ACLS Certifications required
  • Experience with moderate sedation and recovery care preferred
  • Strong patient assessment and procedural nursing skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced procedural environment
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
