- Weekly Pay: $2800 to $3040
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures
- Prepare patients and procedure rooms for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Administer medications and monitor patients receiving moderate sedation
- Assist physicians during endoscopy procedures, including colonoscopies and upper GI procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and recovery status
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures, preparation, and post-procedure care
- Maintain accurate documentation and procedural records
- Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards
Requirements
- Active RN License in California
- Minimum 2 years of recent Endoscopy nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS Certifications required
- Experience with moderate sedation and recovery care preferred
- Strong patient assessment and procedural nursing skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced procedural environment
