Job Title: Endoscopy Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Valid California License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Experience with patient ratios Description: This position requires a commitment to a fixed schedule. There is no flexibility on the schedule. The nurse will participate in providing care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. The average daily census is between 10 and 12 patients. The unit consists of 2 rooms and 4 beds. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary. This role involves working with adult and geriatric patient age groups. Expected patient ratios for day shifts are 1:1. The position requires the ability to float to the perioperative unit as needed. Weekend coverage may be required. Pre-approved time off is limited. Two supervisor references are preferred for submission. Completion of background checks and other required documentation is expected. Please ensure all required certifications are included with applications.
