The preferred shift is from 06:30 to 15:00. In the procedure suite, the nurse ratio is 1:1. The pre-operative and discharge ratio can be up to 4:1. Every third weekend is required for coverage. On-call duties will involve one night a week. There is a possibility to float within scope, but it is highly unlikely. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. Open to accommodating block schedules upon request but not guaranteed. Travelers should be aware that during the hurricane season, they may be assigned to emergency response teams.
