Job Summary:
Endoscopy Lab Specialist in San Antonio, Texas. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in an Endoscopy Lab environment, supporting procedures such as EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Bronchoscopy, and EBUS. The role requires collaboration with a team to ensure high-quality patient care during diverse endoscopic procedures.

Job Details:

  • Shift Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); active license to practice as a registered nurse; minimum of 0 years of experience in endoscopy or related units; located in or willing to work in San Antonio, Texas.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with bronchoscopy, EBUS procedures, and moderate sedation; familiarity with Olympus scopes, Medivator, Scope Buddy, and Meditech EMR system.
  • Responsibilities: Support and assist with procedures including EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Bronchoscopies, and EBUS; perform moderate sedation under supervision; adhere to unit policies and guidelines.
  • Additional Information: Call required 2-3 days per week and every third weekend; unit staffed with 2 registered nurses and 2-3 technicians depending on case load. Dress code is Ceal Blue scrubs.
