Contract | Evening Shift (3x12 Hours, 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM) | Onsite | Weekends and holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume, Level I Trauma Center Emergency Department
  • Deliver emergency nursing interventions across a large multi-bed department including a dedicated trauma bay and behavioral health secure unit
  • Float to the Emergency Transitional Care Unit (ETCU) as needed, providing care for patients awaiting testing, consultations, or inpatient bed placement
  • Monitor and manage patients with telemetry capability, including those in negative pressure rooms
  • Care for a diverse patient population, which may include COVID-positive patients
  • Adhere to all facility policies including tobacco-free and fragrance-free environment standards
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with no license hits accepted
  • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
  • Level I Trauma experience required
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or ARC only)
  • Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
  • Ability to work every 3rd weekend and holidays as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience with EPIC electronic health records system strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and negative pressure room protocols
  • Experience working in or floating to an Emergency Transitional Care or observation unit
