Travel RN – Emergency Room (7p–7a)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a 24-hour Emergency Department serving patients across the full age spectrum
- Perform core ER clinical tasks including phlebotomy, IV placement, EKG, splinting, and wound care
- Safely transport patients as needed within the facility
- Utilize Meditech EHR for accurate and timely documentation
- Float on a rare basis to unit-appropriate areas or serve as an additional set of hands as needed
- Deliver patient-centered care with a focus on creating a positive experience for patients and families while meeting operational metrics
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2+ years of Emergency Room nursing experience (5+ years preferred)
- Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIHSS
- Ability to perform all standard ER clinical tasks independently
- Self-motivated and self-sufficient with strong clinical judgment
Preferred Experience / Skills- 5+ years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Experience with Meditech EHR platform
- Team-oriented personality with a patient-centered approach focused on positive patient and family experiences
