Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | 36 Hours per Week | Days (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday per Department Rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by the care team
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EHR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and disposition
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Current PALS certification required
- Proficiency with Epic EHR
- Must reside 75 or more miles from the facility (no local contracts)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior Emergency Department nursing experience strongly preferred
- Experience working in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma environment
