Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

Location

Statesboro, Georgia

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Mids Shift: 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of patient care
  • Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs throughout each shift
  • Direct and coordinate nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices, delegating patient care priorities commensurate with staff education and experience
  • Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes
  • Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and ongoing professional development
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Georgia
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
  • At least 2 previously completed travel assignments
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
  • ESI Level 5 triage training required
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
  • Experience with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR)
