Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (Mids)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Mid Shift: 12:30 PM – 1:00 AM | Full-Time | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department utilizing the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and clinical judgment in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of emergency patient care
- Direct and coordinate nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices and patient care priorities
- Delegate patient care responsibilities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff, providing direction and supervision as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education and professional development
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Georgia
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- At least 2 prior travel nursing assignments successfully completed
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- ESI Level 5 triage training required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
- Experience with Cerner EMR system preferred
