    Travel RN – Emergency Department (Nights)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights (18:00–06:00) | 36 or 48 Hours Per Week | Every Third Weekend Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform direct patient care activities for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
    • Utilize the nursing process to provide care for patients presenting with trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities
    • Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort
    • Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and maintain professional accountability
    • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information in accordance with applicable standards
    • Float as needed to a similar or lower acuity unit
    Required Qualifications
    • Current RN license – must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently hold Missouri licensure
    • Minimum 2 years of inpatient Emergency Department experience with trauma experience required
    • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
    • NIHSS and TNCC certifications required
    • Flu vaccination (or facility-approved exemption) required November 1 through April 1 – declinations are not accepted
    • Proficiency with EPIC EMR
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in a Level 2 Trauma Center environment
    • Familiarity with stroke and STEMI protocols in a high-acuity emergency setting
