Job Title
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 36-hour weekly guarantee
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a 30-room Emergency Department, including a six-room observation unit and six fast track beds
- Manage and triage a high-volume department averaging 100 patients per day, including trauma, cardiac, and neurological cases
- Operate within a Level IV Trauma Center environment, maintaining patient safety and quality care standards
- Utilize Allscripts Sunrise EMR and Omnicell medication system for documentation and medication administration
- Collaborate with support staff including technicians during peak hours and interdisciplinary team members
- Monitor patients in dedicated seclusion and monitored rooms as clinically indicated
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Current PALS and TNCC certifications
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a high-volume emergency department setting
- Familiarity with Allscripts Sunrise EMR and Omnicell medication systems
- Experience with trauma, cardiac, and neurological patient populations
