Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to Emergency Department patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics
- Perform triage assessments to prioritize patient care based on acuity and clinical presentation
- Deliver treatment interventions in accordance with established emergency care protocols
- Coordinate and execute discharge planning and discharge care for ED patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Associate Degree in Nursing (A.S.) or equivalent required
- Minimum one year of acute care experience
- Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from an approved vendor (AHA or ARC)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer
- NIHSS certification and recent EPIC experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Prior experience in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma emergency department setting
