Travel RN – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a main Emergency Department and Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) settings with a 4:1 patient ratio
- Perform and assist with advanced procedures including intubation, chest tubes, and central lines
- Collaborate within a team nursing model alongside paramedics, EMTs, and dedicated unit secretaries
- Document all patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records system
- Float between the main ED and FSED locations as required per unit floating policy
- Meet scheduling requirements including 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Current PALS certification
- TNCC or ENPC certification
- CPI certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a high-volume or multi-unit emergency department environment
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records documentation
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced clinical setting
