Travel RN – Emergency Room

Location

Salt Lake City, Utah

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a main Emergency Department and Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) settings with a 4:1 patient ratio
  • Perform and assist with advanced procedures including intubation, chest tubes, and central lines
  • Collaborate within a team nursing model alongside paramedics, EMTs, and dedicated unit secretaries
  • Document all patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records system
  • Float between the main ED and FSED locations as required per unit floating policy
  • Meet scheduling requirements including 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Current PALS certification
  • TNCC or ENPC certification
  • CPI certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience working in a high-volume or multi-unit emergency department environment
  • Proficiency with Epic electronic health records documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced clinical setting
