Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced rural Emergency Department setting
- Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust the nursing care process as needed to ensure optimal care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary health team members to coordinate medical and nursing management
- Consult with other specialties as required to support comprehensive patient care
- Serve as a proactive team member in a nine-bed ED serving over 15,000 patients annually
Required Qualifications- Current Vermont RN license or compact multi-state RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room RN experience
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and learn quickly in a dynamic environment
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR or demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly
Preferred Experience / Skills- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
- Prior experience in a rural or critical access hospital setting
