    Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | 3 x 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide professional nursing care to patients in an emergency department setting in accordance with prescribed and delegated medical regimens and facility policies
    • Deliver clinically competent nursing care to the general patient population with minimal guidance, based on identified principles and standards of care
    • Practice nursing within the scope of the North Carolina Nursing Practice Act and remain accountable to the North Carolina Board of Nursing
    • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans for emergency department patients, including those with COVID-19
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
    Required Qualifications
    • Graduate of an approved nursing program
    • Current Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a compact state
    • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
    • Current AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
    • Current AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
    • Current AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
    • Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with Epic electronic health record system
    • Prior emergency department nursing experience
