Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a 15-bed Emergency Room with a 6-bed fast track area operating from 9am–10pm
- Manage a patient assignment with typical nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4, adjusted based on patient acuity
- Care for a high-volume patient population including stroke, abdominal pain, orthopedic injuries, psychiatric patients, and a significant pediatric volume
- Operate and document within a Cerner (FirstNet) EMR system
- Collaborate with on-site physicians, mid-level providers, Respiratory Therapy, and Pharmacy staff available around the clock
- Serve in a Charge Nurse capacity when needed, accepting a modified patient load as required
Required Qualifications- Active RN licensure in good standing
- Minimum 3–5 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Proficiency with Cerner (FirstNet) EMR
- Ability to work every other weekend and rotate into holiday scheduling
Preferred Experience / Skills- Level III Trauma experience or higher strongly preferred
- Experience managing ventilated patients
- Familiarity with Philips telemetry monitoring systems
