Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting open 24/7
- Assess and treat patients presenting with serious or life-threatening conditions including stroke symptoms, cardiac events, severe injuries, seizures, and major trauma
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver timely and effective emergency interventions
- Monitor and document patient status using Cerner EMR
- Adhere to facility dress code and departmental protocols throughout all patient interactions
Required Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of RN Emergency Department experience (required)
- Active Michigan RN license (required)
- TNCC certification – ENPC is not accepted (required)
- ACLS certification (required)
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required)
- PALS certification through the American Heart Association (required)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a Level II trauma center environment
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR documentation systems
- Experience in an accredited stroke center or high-acuity emergency setting
