Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department and Trauma unit serving approximately 250–300 patients per day
- Manage a patient assignment at a 1:4 ratio across acute and subacute care areas
- Monitor patients using telemetry equipment and interpret cardiac strips as needed
- Perform and maintain competency in sterile field procedures including Foley catheter insertion and port-a-cath insertion
- Participate in unit float coverage across multiple emergency department locations as directed
- Complete required orientation activities including SIMs Lab skills assessments and pass/fail competency evaluations
Required Qualifications- Active RN licensure in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience
- At least 6 months of Trauma Level 1 experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (ENPC is not an accepted substitute for PALS)
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
- Must possess own reliable transportation; personal vehicle required
Preferred Experience / Skills- TNCC and/or ATCN certification preferred
- Experience with high-acuity patient populations including trauma, cardiac, spinal cord, and psychiatric holds
- Familiarity with Phillips telemetry monitoring systems
