    Key Responsibilities
    • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes in the emergency department setting
    • Collaborate with physicians, fellow nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to hospital policies and protocols
    • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records documenting patient conditions, treatments, and progress, and report changes or concerns promptly
    • Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures
    • Provide emotional support and advocate for patients' rights, ensuring compassionate and respectful care while complying with all regulatory guidelines
    Required Qualifications
    • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the New Hampshire Board of Nursing
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Associate's degree or higher; Bachelor's preferred)
    • Minimum of 2 years of emergency room (ER) nursing experience (new graduates not accepted at this time)
    • ACLS Certification
    • BLS Certification (AHA)
    • Rhythm Recognition or Basic Arrhythmia experience
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • PALS Certification
    • CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) and/or TNCC Certification
    • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and emergency department equipment
