Key Responsibilities- Assess the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients upon presentation and throughout care.
- Plan and implement individualized nursing care based on patient and family needs.
- Make appropriate clinical interventions based on individual patient assessments and changing conditions.
- Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Direct, coordinate, and delegate activities to support patient- and family-centered care.
- Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in collaboration with the broader healthcare team.
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
- Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience required.
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification required.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
- ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a high-volume or Level II Trauma Center emergency environment.
- Familiarity with tertiary hospital systems and multidisciplinary care teams.
