Key Responsibilities- Assess the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients upon admission and throughout care.
- Plan and implement individualized nursing care based on patient and family needs.
- Make appropriate clinical interventions based on individual patient assessments and responses.
- Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Direct, coordinate, and delegate activities to foster patient- and family-centered care.
- Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in collaboration with the broader healthcare team.
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
- Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience (required).
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification (required).
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification through the American Heart Association.
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a high-volume or Level II Trauma Center emergency department.
- Familiarity with tertiary hospital environments and multidisciplinary care teams.
