Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (Travel)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to Emergency Department patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of patient care
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and professional development
- Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
- Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care in the Emergency Department
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Missouri
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Current PALS certification required
- Current NRP certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with EDIS/Medhost EMR system
- Familiarity with high-acuity Emergency Department environments and variable patient ratios
