Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Room setting within a Level I Trauma Center
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions
- Administer continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation as required
- Perform triage and manage a high patient volume, with ratios typically ranging from 1:5–6 and potentially higher during peak periods or holidays
- Float to Pediatric Emergency Department as needed
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic medical records
Required Qualifications- Active Michigan RN License (compact license not accepted; must be active by start date)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Level I Trauma Center experience required
- Current ACLS, BLS (AHA preferred), PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications required (certifications may not be pending at contract start)
- EPIC charting experience required
- Availability to work 3 weekends (Friday–Sunday) per 4-week schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills- ENPC certification preferred
- Experience with continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration
- Triage experience in a high-volume emergency setting
