Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Room setting within a Level I Trauma Center environment
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias as part of ongoing patient monitoring and treatment
- Administer continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation as required by patient care needs
- Perform triage assessments and prioritize patient care based on acuity
- Float to Pediatric Emergency Department as needed
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic medical records
Required Qualifications- Active Michigan RN License (compact license not accepted; must be active by start date)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Level I Trauma Center experience required
- Current ACLS, BLS (AHA preferred), PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications required (certifications may not be pending at contract start)
- Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Availability to work 3 weekends (Friday–Sunday) per 4-week schedule and willingness to accept high patient ratios (1:5–6, up to 1:8)
Preferred Experience / Skills- ENPC certification preferred
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Experience with continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration
- Triage experience in an emergency care setting
