Travel RN – Emergency Department

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 4 Weekend Shifts Per Month
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Perform procedures including IV starts, blood draws, EKGs, and resuscitation
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, technicians, and unit secretaries on day shift
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Work 4 weekend shifts per month as part of the standard schedule
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of acute Emergency Room experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Current TNCC certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Trauma experience strongly preferred; candidates with trauma background will be considered first
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR system
