Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Nights)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a 32-bed Emergency Department serving a birth-to-death patient population in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Respond to and manage a wide range of emergency presentations including strokes, STEMIs, and trauma cases
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5 while delivering high-quality patient and family experience
- Operate and monitor critical care equipment and document accurately within a Cerner EHR system
- Rotate weekend shifts on an every-other-weekend basis and adjust hours as needed based on census
- Float to other areas of the facility within established competencies as needed
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS or ENPC certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Strong critical care thinking skills and ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency setting
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a fast-paced emergency department setting
- Experience managing stroke, STEMI, and trauma patients
- Energetic, knowledgeable, and adaptable personality well-suited to a dynamic ED environment
