Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Contract, 13 Weeks)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 4 Weekend Shifts Per Schedule | No On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a 23-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
  • Perform and assist with procedures including cardioversion, TNK administration, and moderate sedation
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, paramedics, and PCTs across shift staffing models
  • Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
  • Operate unit equipment including Welch Allyn and GE devices
  • Adhere to unit guidelines and policies consistent with HCA standards
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
  • Current ALS (ACLS) certification
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
  • Current ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) or PALS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • 2 or more years of Emergency Department nursing experience
  • ENPC certification preferred over PALS
  • Team-oriented, flexible, and positive demeanor with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
