Travel RN – Emergency Department (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Projected Start: June 22, 2026 | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed Emergency Department with a 1:4 patient ratio
- Operate and monitor patients using GE monitors, Lifepaks, Baxter IV pumps, Ranger rapid infuser, and Ranger blood warmer
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately within Meditech Expanse EMR
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, PCTs, Unit Clerks, and Greeters during night shift operations
- Deliver care aligned with Level 3 Trauma Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI, and Stroke Certified standards
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Kentucky or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
- Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Meditech Expanse EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency or acute care setting
- Familiarity with trauma, chest pain, or stroke protocols in a certified facility
