Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Florence, Alabama

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM) | 36 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | Every Other Weekend Required | Projected Start: 06/22/2026

• Provide direct patient care in a Level III Trauma Emergency Department serving all age populations, from pediatric to geriatric
• Manage patient assignments within a 37-bed department that includes 4 Trauma Bays, 7 Fast Track Rooms, and 26 general ED beds
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:3 to 1:4 while delivering timely, high-quality emergency nursing care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using MediTech EHR
• Collaborate with the Nurse Manager and Director to ensure safe, effective unit operations
• Float to Overflow unit as needed based on departmental staffing requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department or Critical Care nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to MediTech EHR system
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM) including every other weekend

• Experience in a Level III Trauma Center environment
• Comfort working with diverse patient populations across all age groups
• Prior travel nursing experience

• Work in a structured, well-supported Emergency Department with a defined unit profile, clear patient ratios, and consistent leadership oversight
• Weekly orientations provided to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for traveling clinicians
