Job Title

Emergency Department RN Supervisor – NOC Shift

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individualized patient assessments, prioritizing data collection based on the patient's immediate condition or needs, and notify the Charge Nurse and physician of abnormal findings
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with the broader healthcare team
  • Perform physician-ordered treatments accurately and in a timely manner, including EKGs, blood draws, and IV starts
  • Initiate emergency resuscitative measures in accordance with appropriate resuscitation protocols
  • Provide individualized patient and family education and document assessments, interventions, and progress thoroughly
  • Adhere to medication administration procedures, narcotics control policies, and infection control and safety standards
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in good standing in the state of California
  • Active ACLS, PALS, and CPR certifications
  • NRP and TNCC required within one year of hire date
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and walking intermittently throughout the shift
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Emergency Department nurse
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate across all levels of an organization
